Keeping Your Empire Card Experience Optimized
At Empire Card, we believe a platform is never truly “finished”—it must constantly evolve to match the changing internet landscape of the Philippines.
This page serves as our official changelog. Here, you can track the latest technical improvements, app version releases, and updates to our access guides. We focus heavily on PH routing behavior (how your connection travels through local ISPs) and payment gateway stability (GCash/Maya trends) to ensure you have the smoothest experience possible.

🚀 Highlight: November 2025 Update
Android App Version 1.2.1 (Rolled Out Nov 05)
We have released a critical update for our Android users aimed at stabilizing connections in areas with fluctuating signal strength.
- The Fix: Improved the “Reconnection Protocol.” Previously, switching from Wi-Fi to 4G could cause a “Session Timeout” error. The new version holds the session active for 30 seconds during network switches, allowing for seamless transitions.
- Target Audience: Commuters and users in provincial areas with spotty LTE coverage.
- Action: Download the latest APK here.
Recent Changelog
Below is a chronological list of recent changes to the Empire Card ecosystem.
📅 November 2025
- Content Update (Nov 01): Added a comprehensive “Card Table Access Guide” to the Help Center. This new section explains the interface differences between Baccarat and Poker formats on mobile screens.
- Network Optimization: Adjusted server nodes for users connecting via PLDT/Smart in the Visayas region to reduce latency during peak evening hours (7 PM – 10 PM).
📅 October 2025
- Payment Insight (Oct 28): Updated our Payment Tips page with new data regarding Maya routing behavior. We observed that Maya processing is currently faster than GCash during the “end-of-month” pay periods.
- iOS Access: Refreshed the TestFlight invitation link to accommodate new users.
- UI Adjustment: Increased the font size of the “History” tab in the mobile browser version for better readability on smaller screens (under 6 inches).
📅 September 2025
- App Feature: Introduced “Low Data Mode” in the Android App settings. This reduces the quality of non-essential background visuals to save mobile data.
- Security Patch: Routine SSL certificate renewal and backend security audit completed by our technical team in Metro Manila.
Understanding Our Update Categories
To help you find what matters, we categorize our updates into four main areas:
📱 App & Access
Changes to the Android APK, iOS TestFlight builds, or Mobile Browser interface. These updates usually require a user action (like downloading a new file or clearing cache).
📡 Network & Routing
Backend adjustments to how Empire Card connects to local PH Internet Service Providers (Globe, Smart, DITO, PLDT). These are automatic—you don’t need to do anything, but you will feel the difference in speed.
💳 Payment Gateways
Updates regarding GCash, Maya, or Bank transfer timings. We monitor these external systems and update our internal processing logic to match their maintenance schedules.
📘 Content & Guides
New entries in our Guides section. When we add support for a new format or notice a common question in our community, we publish a guide here.
How to Ensure You Are Updated
For Android Users
If you are using the APK, the app will usually prompt you when a critical update is available. However, you can always visit the App Guide to check if your version number matches the latest release.
For Browser Users
You are automatically using the latest version. If you encounter issues, we recommend clearing your browser cache to remove old assets.
For iOS Users
Check your TestFlight app. If an update is available for Empire Card, an “Update” button will appear next to the app icon.
Report an Issue
Notice something unusual? Our updates are often driven by user feedback. If you experience a specific routing issue or a bug in the new app version, let our support team know.
